Victorian Front Doors

New bespoke Victorian front doors, available handmade up to a maximum size of 910mm Wide, 2134mm High and 44mm Deep. This size should suit most appropriate period entrances. Select your preferred choice of timber (softwood, hardwood or oak) and panels. The designs available date approximately between 1837 to 1901, during Queen Victoria’s reign.

The Victorian front door provides quite an elaborate style, which the period has become renowned for. It saw a rise in the popularity of multiple glazed panels. The typical Victorian door had two large stained glass panels at the top half of the door, with two small timber panels below. You would often see doors with multiple stained glass panels within them. Also known as leaded glass, these panels are hand made to an exact match of an original. There are many varied designs, which can be seen on our website or at our premises (see below for details).
